LLS Man & Woman of the Year is a philanthropic competition to support blood cancer research among a group of motivated and dedicated individuals in communities across the United States. Candidates form powerful fundraising teams and compete in honor of blood cancer survivors. From March 7th - May 18th, candidates have 10 weeks to raise money. The man and woman raising the most win the title of Man and Woman of the Year at the black-tie finale gala on May 18th, 2019 at the St. Paul River Center.
Last year MN candidates collectively raised nearly $1,000,000 during the campaign. Scott has formed Team Hope and the Hope Hustlers setting a fundraising goal of $100,000!!!
For every $50k raised LLS allows us to fund a research portfolio grant in the name of an honoree.
We have a goal of dedicating two honorary grants:
- Grant of Gratitude for my care team at the Mayo
- Legacy Grant in the name of my daughters
